Ethical marketing results: what strategy actually delivers

These are the ethical marketing results when nature-led brands stop reacting and start building strategy from the ground up. Across Nature-based Solutions, responsible travel, and mission-driven entrepreneurship, the pattern is consistent: clear positioning attracts aligned clients, specific messaging converts them, and the right frameworks let teams sustain it independently.

Client results

I support organizations with ethical, effective growth and protecting nature. Each has distinct needs, challenges, and opportunities. Here’s what that has looked like for clients in each group.

Responsible travel: Safari With Us

Andre Retief launched Safari With Us nine months before we started working together. Bookings were falling short. The problem wasn’t only visibility, it was trust. Travelers choosing wildlife experiences increasingly want proof that a brand shares their values, not just their interest in animals.

The first strategic decision was to stop competing on volume and start leading with integrity. That meant removing animal interaction tours and earning a verified listing as an ethical operator with the Campaign Against Canned Hunting. Operations changed before messaging did – that’s the only order that works.

Within six months: +44.59% total bookings. +64.71% direct bookings. Online bookings tripled.

Volunteer coordination software: Nyby Deutschland

A focused AI search engagement for a volunteer coordination platform that serves care homes in Germany.

In July, Nyby was barely mentioned by AIs. Across prompts that don’t name Nyby, its visibility in AI answers grew from 2.5% on July 24 to 25.9% on October 15, 2026, measured on the German-language questions care homes ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews.

Nyby now ranks first in share of voice among 478 tracked brands, at 9.9%, and first in three main topics: relieving care staff, digital volunteer matching and coordinating volunteers. Source: Searchable.

Creative and consulting founders: Marketing by Nature members

Six founders. Different starting points. One consistent outcome: a marketing system they could actually use.

Within three months of completing the program, five of six saw measurable ROI ranging from 140% to 1,012.83%. Sales conversion rates ran from 28% to 67%. One quit her day job and started fostering dogs again. One launched an agency. One went fully booked for seven months.

What these ethical marketing results have in common

None of them came from pressure tactics, manufactured urgency, or paid ads chasing the wrong people. They came from:

  • Positioning that made the right clients self-select
  • Messaging that communicated real impact in language their audience understood
  • Strategy their teams could carry forward independently

That’s the pattern. It repeats.
