The moment the brand heroes soared high.
Be The Change Awards.
On April 26, 2019, over 100 changemakers around the world got together in London to celebrate doing something really good in this world.
In the first annual Be The Change Awards, 59 brand heroes from over 160 entries became finalists in 12 different categories.
Brand heroes who offer ethically-made products and services that go above and beyond the traditional industry methods.
Brand heroes who value people, our planet and profit.
Getting involved.
I was asked by my business colleague and friend, Sian Conway of Ethical Hour, and co-creator of this event along with Jo Salter of Where Does It Come From? to sponsor and judge this event.
You may remember having read about the Be the Change Awards earlier this year.
Well, after reading the information, I quickly responded with a “HELL YES, take my money!”
Sponsoring was easy and fun and I’ve already given my promise to do it again next year.
But judging? Wow, that was HARD!
Although it was an honor to be one of the first people to watch the finalist videos in my category, it was not easy to pick a winner as they’re all winners in my eyes.
That said, I still casted my vote along with my co-judges, Paul Dunn of B1G1 and Sophie Hobson of School For Social Entrepreneurs and I’ll be ready to do the same next year too.
It was a pleasure to not only hear the stories of these incredible changemakers, but to meet them face-to-face after only having ‘met’ them online!
I’m still over the moon about this event even weeks later!
Hats off to all the changemakers of this world!

Why did I sponsor this event?
As a sponsor of the Be The Change Awards, I’m able to financially support brilliant work being done and show my deep gratitude for changemakers who prove every single day that you don’t have to harm people, animals or our planet to be able to make a profit!
Are you also a changemaker who wants to increase revenue so that you can make a greater positive impact in this world?
Peace,
